Use of Expert Advisors (EAs)

Conditions for Using Expert Advisors (EAs) at Global4EX

At Global4EX, the use of Expert Advisors (EAs), bots, and automated trading systems is permitted only if they fully comply with all Global4EX rules and do not engage in abusive, manipulative, or exploitative behavior.
Any algorithm designed to exploit technical weaknesses, generate artificial trading activity, or bypass genuine market risk is strictly prohibited.
Accounts found engaging in prohibited EA behavior may be suspended or permanently terminated without prior notice, especially during the funded stage.

⚠️ HFT Usage Limitation

• High-Frequency Trading (HFT) EAs are allowed ONLY on HFT Challenge accounts
• HFT EAs are NOT allowed on:

Any HFT EA usage on a funded account will result in an immediate rule violation.

🚫 Prohibited EA Behaviors & Strategies

⚡ Tick Scalping

What It Is
Executing a very high number of trades within seconds to capture extremely small price movements (typically 1–3 pips), often without meaningful analysis.

Global4EX Rule
 • Tick scalping is strictly prohibited

Hard Breach Condition
 • If any 3 trades are held for less than 10 seconds within a 1-hour period, this is treated as a hard breach violation.

Why It’s Prohibited
 • Does not reflect real market trading
 • Overloads trading infrastructure
 • Relies on technical timing advantages

Example
An EA opening and closing multiple positions within seconds, where three or more trades have a holding time of less than 10 seconds within one hour, to exploit micro price movements.

🧠 Autotrading With Abusive Strategies

What It Is
Algorithms designed to exploit latency gaps, manipulated ticks, delayed price feeds, or abnormal execution behavior.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Exploits system mechanics
• Bypasses genuine analysis and decision-making

Example
An EA using an external price feed to place trades before Global4EX prices update.

📉 Martingale Strategies

What It Is
Increasing position size after losses in anticipation that a single winning trade will recover all prior losses.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Creates uncontrolled exposure
• High probability of catastrophic drawdown

Example
An EA doubling lot size after each losing trade.

📊 Grid Trading Strategies

What It Is
Placing buy and sell orders at fixed price intervals without directional analysis or structured risk control.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Exposes accounts to extreme drawdowns
• Lacks sustainable risk management

Example
An EA placing trades every 10 pips with no defined stop loss.

🔄 Hyperactive Trading

What It Is
Opening, closing, or modifying an excessive number of trades in a short period without clear strategic reasoning.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Strains platform performance
• Mimics non-human trading behavior

Example
An EA executing hundreds or thousands of trades per day without analytical justification.

⏱️ Latency Trading

What It Is
Exploiting price delays between platforms or data feeds to gain an unfair advantage.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Relies on price desynchronization
• Undermines fair market access

Example
Entering trades based on prices observed elsewhere before Global4EX updates.

🔁 Unauthorized Copy Trading

What It Is
Automatically copying another trader’s positions without independent strategy or explicit authorization.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Undermines individual skill evaluation

Example
An EA mirroring another trader’s account in real time.

🔀 Price Arbitrage

What It Is
Exploiting delayed price synchronization between platforms without assuming real market risk.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Generates artificial profits
• Distorts fair evaluation

Example
Placing trades before prices update on Global4EX.

🎲 Random or Impulsive Trading (Gambling)

What It Is
Trading without a defined strategy, driven by chance, emotion, or revenge behavior.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Contradicts disciplined trading standards

Example
An EA opening oversized positions after losses with no stop loss or analysis.

👥 Account Sharing & Coordinated EA Use

What It Is
Allowing others to trade your account or running the same EA across multiple coordinated accounts.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Violates security standards
• Prevents accurate performance assessment

Example
Identical EA trades being executed across multiple accounts simultaneously.

🔁 Hedging Between Accounts or Groups

What It Is
Opening opposing positions across different accounts to eliminate market risk.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Removes genuine market exposure
• Manipulates evaluation outcomes

Example
An EA opening buy trades on one account and sell trades on another.

🛠️ Exploiting Technical Errors

What It Is
Taking advantage of frozen prices, execution glitches, incorrect spreads, or delayed updates.

Why It’s Prohibited
• Creates unfair profits
• Undermines platform integrity

Example
Trading during a known price freeze or execution malfunction.

⚠️ Final Warning

Global4EX evaluates real trading skill, not automation abuse or infrastructure exploitation.
By avoiding prohibited EA practices and focusing on consistent, rule-compliant, and skill-based trading, traders protect their accounts and remain eligible for funding.
If you are unsure whether an EA or automated strategy complies with Global4EX rules, you must contact support before trading.
Responsibility for compliance lies entirely with the trader.
